Many of us on this forum have been on the internet long enough to know some general rules of forum etiquette. With the declining prevalence of forums as a means of communication online, however, many of these rules have gotten "lost" to time, so to speak. I would like to address one of these rules here.

It's good forum etiquette to avoid posting in threads that haven't seen activity in a while (this does come with a few exceptions, such as threads detailing an ongoing project where the author may wish to continue to post updates), and that time period oftentimes depends on the activity level of the forum as a whole, and the atmosphere and culture of the forum itself. The practice of doing so is called "necroposting."

For this forum, any thread that hasn't seen activity in about a month will be considered "dead" and any posts after that will be considered necroposts. Please don't necropost!
