|

I recently restored my ThinkPad T61 using the Windows XP factory image. Once I got everything installed, I noticed that for some reason, right clicking on a zip file and trying to open with 7-Zip did not work. It showed the menu item there, but clicking on it did nothing.
After some poking around and some googling, I ended up randomly trying something called Fast Explorer 2008, which is a context menu management tool.
For some reason, disabling the menu item and re-enabling it made it work again. I guess it didn't quite register properly or something?
This is such a niche thing, but maybe someone will find it useful someday lol. Here's a link to the tool: https://www.softpedia.com/get/System/OS-Enhancements/Fast-Explorer.shtml#download _________________ If you like browsing without an ad blocker, you might also like getting rid of your virus scanner, and running around with your pants down. --SomeGuy, 2016 |
