I started the organizing our links project.
I decided instead of vibe coding to use a MediaWiki.

I'm still setting things up as I am new to hosting a MediaWiki site, but if you want to browse or contribute you may do so here:

https://dreambyte.xyz/dir/index.php/Main_Page

If you lift text (copy and pasted directly from it, please add a Reference subsection like the one on the MAREX page).

https://dreambyte.xyz/dir/index.php/MarEx

You can add any safe-for-work website.
Add your personal sites, project sites, site you find helpful, and sites you visit frequently.

This should be considered what the yellow pages were for telecommunications for the web. Idea

I haven't tested it on older browsers yet, but I do intend on making it available on older web browsers.

I love the idea of this! It's an excellent idea of collating a lot of our own sites and that of others too. Once I work it out, I can submit some retro sites.

Re: Trying to run it on old hardware... no dice on FireFox 2.0/Windows 98 due to HTTPS, but will be fine on a newer OS such as Windows XP I reckon, in my "professional" capacity.

Daniel's one, sorry. Sloop working on Mac OS is good to know, maybe I'll have to dig out my iMac G3 after all!

Pardon my ignorance (inability) here, but how does one go about submitting a webpage, or webpages, to the site? Smile

Register and account then use the search bar to type the title of the page. It will tell you it doesn't exist, but you can create it. Click the create link and you're up and running.
