Hey all,
Recently I got an old I-Buddy for MSN/WLM.
For those unaware it is supposed to react in different ways to messenger emoticons and changes in online state. I have tested mine with the software that comes with it and it works however I have yet to have it work with MSN 7.5 on Crosstalk. Has anyone else used one with crosstalk messenger and had it work? Or conversely has anyone been able to modify one to react to other software/system notifications?

| Wow I have not seen one of those in forever. A friend of mine had one but I don't remember ever seeing it work. I'll ask him. |

| I would imagine that the thing itself depended on some weird additional info sent from the server, either that or its hard coded to recognize certain microsoft specific stuff that has had to be rewritten out of necessity for crosstalk to work. |

I'm sure you could reverse engineer this and drive it via python easy. _________________ I do stuff with things for reasons.

I had seen a video where someone had managed to get it to work with MSN on Escargot so I figured it would work with Crosstalk. I may have to learn some python to get it to work. _________________ Posted from Windows XP SP3 |

I had completely forgotten they existed at all myself until I randomly saw a couple on ebay after browsing for something unrelated, knew I had to get one. It is pretty cute ngl. _________________ Posted from Windows XP SP3 |
