This has been bugging me for a while now. While i doubt there is a specialized retailer for this, I've been aching to get myself some "new old" parts, Mainly RAM and a GPU for cheap. I'm a brokie don't judge me please.
I've got two family PCs. One used to be mine, the other one was always "for parts". I know my old one still works, from my awareness someone cloned a HDD image onto there from a familial computer that had to be thrown out. The one "for parts" seems to be in a more complete state, although i've heard it's PSU is dead, and im NOT willing to risk testing that, So a new PSU is also on the list.
I've got 3 HDDs, 2 of which are supposedly "dead" and one im not sure whether that's true. Incase all of them biting the dust, it's better to get some new ones no? Or maybe just getting a SSD and cloning that HDD onto it. _________________ Why can't the internet be colorfull again?

Not sure about ram and such other than eBay, but for hard disks these things are invaluable. They are Sata to IDE convertors and in my experience work very well allowing you to use newer and higher capacity hard drive tech on an older motherboard. Best of all they are super cheap.
