Not sure how many people know of it here, but Poland used to have it's own IMs; GaduGadu and Tlen. I say used to, becasue while GaduGadu is still up, it's mostly fallen off alot when it comes to popularity, and Tlen is just dead. Translated names from Polish are; Tlen is oxygen and GaduGadu is TalkTalk. Although that translation of GG's name is literal, and the right one is chit-chat
Both of these like alot of IMs used to be popular in the 2000s. GaduGadu was the dominant one in Poland, with to my knowledge Tlen being it's only serious competitor, even if it was smaller. MSN messenger problably was a rival it, but GG was still the dominant one in Poland at the time.
Skins were available for GG, as such a skin manager was made, but it seems all of the links in said manager were taken-over by some lab-equipment company. Becasue of course it was. Can't let a guy see some internet creativity no?
