I somehow have forgotten to reply to this thread!
Anyway, I like a lot of RPGs and arcade shmup-style games. For the former, I really enjoy the Atelier series, as well as Fire Emblem, Valkyria Chronicles, the Tactics Ogre series, and others. For the latter, I really like Gradius (and the closely related Parodius), R-Type, Touhou, Raiden, CAVE Interactive titles, and other games along those lines.
