What are you all reading? I just finished Carmilla a few days ago, and next I think I'll read Candide. _________________ Your System ate a SPARC! Gah! |

Do UNIX manuals and full wikipedia articles count?
I have not sat down to read a normal book in a long time, which is sad and something I need to change at some point. I've been considering buying an e-book reader as well which might entice me to read more. _________________ If you like browsing without an ad blocker, you might also like getting rid of your virus scanner, and running around with your pants down. --SomeGuy, 2016 |

I'm reading two works necessary for my master thesis:
-Alex Buchner: -Das Handbuch der deutschen Infanterie
-Franz Kurowski: Deutsche Kommandotrupps I-II
Both are fascinating considering the so called Brandenburgers are still much of an oscurity of military history. Especially in Hungary

Thanks to a couple of broken bones, I currently have a lot of free time. I'm a literature graduate so the fact I hadn't been reading until now is a little bit shameful. However, I've been using my free time devoted to the thing I previously extensively studied. Therefore, I've been reading:
- Granite City (2005) by Stuart MacBride
- And On That Bombshell (2015) by Richard Porter
- The Haynes Workshop manual for my best friend's 1999 Vauxhall Corsa...
I'm about to start Death and the Penguin (1996) by Andrey Kurkov, a Ukrainian novel that has (for my benefit) been translated into English. It was a recommendation from my younger brother who has read it previously - so I think he has outdone me in terms of "scholarly" literature. _________________ - Ryan

I'm currently reading through some of my web history literature. I have a whole shelf on it (particularly the 90s web). Last year I did a full re-read/listen through the Harry Potter audiobook series for old time's sake. Next on my list is House of Leaves, because I feel like losing my mind _________________
