Look up dialup4less, I just got in contact with them and they still do sell dialup in the year of our damnation 2025.

They only offer service to the US and Canada, however. I've got my analog phones on an X2 Bluetooth Gateway so I'm hoping I'll be able to get a US Robotics 5686G serial modem connected to them. Will report back on how that arrangement goes.

Always nice to see some dial-up ISPs still holding on. I still have a free Juno account that I made back in 2006. Of course, I don't use it much these days, but it's fun to mess around with once in a while.

I have my own overkill dial-up service that I use most of the time these days on my retro machines.

I will admit that's the way to go these days, for sure. In fact, I have a whole WebOne/mGetty system planned for when I have a bunch of free cash.

I tried to sign up with Juno for their free dialup, but unfortunately their registration system seems to be broken, as it says it's sending a verification code, but it never did, so I couldn't sign up.

I feel like Juno's systems have been slowly dying over the years. NetZero (owned by the same company) is even worse. I should probably move some of my accounts to a different e-mail address, as I use my Juno account still for certain important things.

That's definitely good information to know.

Very nice. Sadly, I don't really need a "real" Dial-up ISP anymore, since I have my own RAS hardware and telephone switch equipment.

I have promised I would report back once I received the modem.

I was able to create an account at End Of The Line... At 300 baud, but it was very glitchy and eventually devolved into garbage data.

Not surprised.

Expecting a call from Dialup4Less in the morning. Will report if I was successful in dialing up with them.

You should try a modem that supports protocols with error correction. v22bis + MNP or v.42.

I'm guessing you're accessing it over VoIP?
