If anyone misses the old web, check out geocities.club. It’s a legit Geocities revival and it actually looks decent. _________________ --------------------

There a few similar revivals including neocities. We should list them all out. I know we talked about making a huge link directory at one point. _________________ -Daniel |

| There's already a big list of old-computer friendly sites, but I can't remember the name of it at this time. I know this page is on there, as well as my own. |

There's also Geocities.ws, which I used for a brief period of time to host my website before going it alone. Said website is also old-computer friendly. _________________ - Ryan

I use Neocities, I'm actually one of their supporters. Its a decent platform. I love their site directory. It allows you to browse for any Neocities site by tags. _________________ I do stuff with things for reasons.

Geocities.ws seems decent, they give you 1GB free and include WYSIWYG editors as well as the option to just text edit.
Other things are completely broken, namely the Archive Index, which can be found here: https://www.geocities.ws/index.php?___=&page=1
Its not accessible otherwise. There's other broken links, its rough around the edges overall, but the service seems to be good.
Its completely friendly with my Win98 machine and K-Meleon. |
