That website preview looks awesome!

I have 4 four Mavicas myself, the FD5, FD75 (which unfortunately has bad vinegar syndrome on the screen), FD87, and the FD93. I'd be happy to help provide sample photos, photos of the cameras themselves, and other things as needed for those models. I've taken the most photos with the FD87, because that was the original one I've had since at least 2009.

Thanks for the lovely replies folks! I'm super excited about actually getting the site live.

europa - It's a Blue and White Yosemite 300. Chimes but no video. Some of the internal diagnostic lights won't work either. I'll save it for another thread if it doesn't sell soon - I'm sick of the sight of it...

nick99nack - I'd be very pleased with sample photos from the FD5, FD87, and the last one too - did you mean FD92?

If you could take photos of the Mavicas with maybe the FD75 that'd be super cool, or at least something similarly crunchy... Razz

I should be okay for photos of the FD75, but if not I'll let you know.

Thanks again! Smile

Ah honestly fair - Hope you figure out what's wrong with it, or get good money selling it to someone who can. Offhand, makes me wonder if it's a PSU failure. I look forward to that thread.

Funnily enough, I sold it tonight to an Apple enthusiast. Hopefully in good hands now! Means I can focus on my iMac G3 and the other hardware clutter... Razz

Definitely! I need to put a photo gallery on my website, but here's the raw directory listing presently. And I know that pain all too well.

Oh and just a BTW, you're free to use my pictures here as examples on your site of the FD75's photography, just please link back to my site for attribution if you do so Smile

In other news, my FD71 arrived today. It was untested but thankfully worked. It now has been used to get photographs of the FD81, and vice versa. I'm beginning to piece that side of things together.

Speaking to someone I know who has an FD7 and an FD200, so hopefully we should have those models covered soon. Smile

Thanks for the support folks. It's been a really fun project so far, and one that I reckon will need to be maintained even when live. I have an FD75 accessories brochure that I need to tackle with my scanner - a lot of the stuff is applicable for the other models too - things like lens filters, etc.

This isn't my first foray into all this web development stuff - I run two other sites. One for personal shenanigans and one for other people's sites, and a forum as a proof of concept beyond anything else. This one is different though, it's a lot more in-depth with information and the use case is different. Exciting, though. Plus, we can never have too many sites compatible with computers made on the correct side of 2000 (even if I personally wasn't). Laughing
